Re: Does the damage from an mages evocation count as originating from the mage?
It is usually very specific in the card descriptor. In this case it does not apply for damage done by summoning or with other mages, the valid damage is damage from physical attack or spells, rooms and any damage from completed spells

Re: Can I apply an Upgrade to a Forgotten evocation?
Yes, you can apply Technomancy enhancements, but not war or forge enhancements, in which case they are not enhancements, but equipment, and summons cannot be equipped, but enhanced.

Any time there is a need to draw cards from a depleted deck, whatever it is and there is a discard pile you reshuffle that and use it.

Re: Can I summon equipment with a spell that allows summoning any evocation with health 3 or less?
No, with the cards that make you conjure an evocation with Healt 3 or Less we have a room target, the equipment cards are self-targeted.
Currently with that type of cards you will only be able to conjure "Summon with miniatures"

Re: When a trap trigger says “a mage inflicts damage” does the damage have to originate from the mage’s figure?
The only damage that applies to this rule is if the mage casts a direct spell on you or hits you with an attack.
The third and final way the trigger works is that if a mage activates a room that does damage, the damage is considered inflicted by that mage.
